ROAD CLOSURES

  • Drivers should plan their travel around the RunSedona race on Dry Creek Road. This annual event attracts nearly 3,500 participants, along with spectators and families.

  • The provided map shows road closures, alternate routes, and information on accessing popular destinations affected by the race. During the event, pedestrians and bicyclists can cross the course when it's safe. Please listen to directions from Sedona Police if they're present. Note that Google Maps won't reflect road closures on race day.

  • Most road closures and detours will be from 7:30 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, February 1. The Half Marathon starts at 8:00 am. Pedestrians and bicyclists can cross safely during gaps. Dry Creek Road leading to Long Canyon/Boynton Canyon will reopen around 9:30 am, and the section towards Sedona will reopen around 11:30 am once the race finishes and the course is cleared.

  • To enjoy the weekend without stress, be mindful of road closures and plan alternative routes or expect longer travel times.

  • For hikers, be aware of the effects on trailheads that morning and plan accordingly. Check the map for trailhead impacts on race day. Visit the map to view the trailheads that will be impacted on race day.
