
ROAD CLOSURES
Event-Related Road Closures
Drivers are encouraged to adjust travel time within and around the RunSedona race route on Dry Creek Road. The annual event hosts close to 3,000 runners and walkers each year, in addition to spectators, family, and friends.
The map below outlines the road closures, highlights alternate routes, and provides access information for popular destinations which will be affected by road closures during the race. At most points along the course, pedestrians and bicyclists may cross the course during safe gaps in runners. Please follow the direction of Sedona Police, if present. Google Maps does NOT take into account the road closures on race day.
Most road closures and detours will be in effect on Saturday, February 1 between the hours of 7:30 am-11:30 am. The Half Marathon race begins at 8:00 am. At most points along the course, pedestrians and bicyclists may cross the course during safe gaps in runners. Please follow the direction of Sedona Police, if present. Dry Creek Road (towards Long Canyon/Boynton Canyon) will reopen on a rolling basis as soon as the last participant passes and all course support materials are removed – at approximately 9:30 am.

To get the most out of your weekend and minimize stress, be aware of the road closures in your area and plan ahead for an alternate route or added travel time.
